In 2008, I began writing my restoration story based on both my deeply emotional and spiritual experiences from the perspective of a little Jewish girl. My daughter (now 18) was just being born, and I told the Lord that I was bored to death with my own singing!
In these moments, Adonai set me on a journey to go to the coffee shop every Thursday Night in Nashville TN to write my story down in Microsoft Word. The goal was for my own healing and also to help anyone who has experienced any kind of emotional trauma, discrimination, or feelings of purposelessness. The Goal was to help others OVERCOME.
A few years into the project, when the entire book file was CORRUPTED, a phenomenal computer programmer, John Merritt, retrieved half of the book for me, and inspired by TV host and Rabbi Neil Lash, I re-wrote the entire book with more of a reflection-based focus.
Releasing this Musical Autobiography/Memoir/Self Help book in 2014, the books slept quietly in boxes inside my garage and sold independently through bookbaby.com. Thousands of digital copies were given away in Israel with the help of local outreach workers on the streets. Other than this, very few people knew of it or even read it!
